Project for December 29th- 4 Mini Albums in a Bookshelf Box

Hi Wednesday Project Ladies!
You are going to love the project this week- it is simple and cool- and a great way to organize. Who isn't looking for simple and organized in the same project?

This is 4 mini albums and a handmade bookshelf box for them to fit into. The minis are sized to put your 4x6 photos right onto the page with no cardstock showing. If you want to embellish the inside of these little albums you certainly could.

The video shows you step by step how to make these, you also have step by step instructions in your handout for the week.

I got a new Flip Video Camera for Christmas so I am thrilled that the video is much more clear and easier to watch. This video is in 2 parts, the project introduction and then the directions.
Enjoy!

Project for December 22nd - Flip Top Box with Accordion Album

Hello Wednesday Project Chicks!

Well, can you believe it is just a few days before Christmas? I have the perfect little last minute gift idea for a gift card or a mini mini book.

This little box is the perfect size for a gift card, but you can also make the accordion mini that fits inside and include a note and some little photos.
I sent a printable template for this project- the easiest way to make it is to print the template right onto the backside of your paper and then use the cutting and scoring lines.
The video shows you step by step directions how to put this together.
Have fun and have a Very Merry Christmas!
Kerry
ps Can you guess what kind of box this project is based on? I'll give the answer below the video screen. he he he

The box is based on a hard sided box of cigarettes. I think this is the best use of cigarettes that I have ever seen!

If you are eager to do this project today- the video will give you pretty good instructions how to put it together. We will also have kits available for this project with all of the decorative edges pre-cut for you.

Project for December 8 2010

Happy Wednesday Project Chicks!

This week is a fun and inexpensive project to do for a fantastic handmade Holiday Gift. Our theme for December is Projects for Gift Giving.

This is a fold up Stationery Box. I made this out of cardstock and some super old Basic Grey paper. The amazing thing about this project is that it requires 3 pieces of cardstock and 2 pieces of pattern paper. So great!

As far as cards, tags and all of the "goodies" to fill this box with- that is up to you. I gave you a few suggestions in the directions, but the idea is to create some easy cards with your scraps and embellishments or some beautiful hand stamped cards and envelopes.

The video gives you step by step instructions for the basic assembly. I had to do it in 2 parts because it was too long for Youtube. Have fun!
