This week is a super fun, brand new design in a bright and happy Springtime paper line by Echo Park Paper Company. 
The book cover is in the shape of a birdhouse- I thought that this would looks so cute sitting on my counter as a display during the spring months. 
We are doing a stab binding with this project, which is much much much easier if you have a darning needle that you can thread with the bakers twine. 
The book is constructed of a binding, 3 booklets of pages and the covers. We are going to attach the bookets to the binding first, then glue the binding to the covers. Kind of a different way to do it. I also threaded buttons onto the binding, you can slide these to cover up the knots.
The birdie perch on the front of the book is a small wooden spool that I wrapped with bakers twine.
