Project for June 1, 2011 What is A Dad- Corrugated Cardboard Mini Book

This week our mini book is all about Dad. We combined corrugated cardboard for pages with some cool metal embellishments.


The cover features a galvanized electrical switch plate cover- it adds such a cool touch and it was only .50 at Home Depot.




Some of the other metal embellishments were made using guess what? A Diet Coke can. The aluminum is thin enough to cut with a regular pair of scissors.



I also included a printable poem that I adhered to the front and back of some shipping tags.
